What a week last week with Jimmy Walker taking down his first major, holding off Jason Day.

This week, the PGA Tour is at the Travelers Championship in Connecticut. At a par 70 and just over 6800 yards, this is a precision type golf course, so you would think long bombers will not do great here.

Not exactly. Bubba Watson is a great shot maker and his imagination gets him around the course well.  With his course history here (multiple wins and high finishes) I see no way you can fade him this week.

DraftKings Advice

The first thing to note is are you playing a cash game or a gpp entry? That will determine much of your strategy, even though some lineups work well for both.

As I mentioned Bubba above as a lock of the week, I also think Paul Casey, coming off a solid finish at the PGA Championship, will have another good week. He lost to Bubba here last year in a playoff.

Value Play Of The Week

Ken Duke – While he will not be a cheap as you think he should be, he did win here a few years ago and was T10 last year. In a weaker field than normal, he will be a strong play, that might not be as highly owned as he should be.

While we may not always win our PGA DFS contests, we feel our golf DFS strategy is on point with some of the best players out there.

Johnny Giovonni

Hi, my name is Johnny Giovonni. I am in the financial services industry and own my own business on the side. I work too much and golf too little. That is why I helped create this site, so I could at least have the dream of golfing everyday. Also, I am a huge numbers person and have researched many advanced gaming theories and other nerd stuff like the Rule of 72 and Benford's Law. When I am not working I am either golfing, watching sports, or researching statistics for my weekly and daily fantasy picks. I am under full belief there is an enormous advantage to be had with information when picking your lineups every week. I hope to bring that knowledge to this website. I look forward to writing and responding to your comments. Check out some of our course reviews, fantasy sports picks and as always, provide any feedback!
