DraftKings NBA 10/27/15 Fantasy Lineup

With a limited slate of games you need to really find the best players and lock in some solid points.  Then you can find some value plays to help have success in the 50/50 contests.  Check back again because there are many injuries that are not exactly fully disclosed yet.  Both NBA Finals teams (Cavs and Warriors) are in action on opening night.

PositionNameTeamSalaryProjections
PGMo WilliamsCle @Chi4900With Kyrie out, Mo will be scoring like it is old school in Cleveland. At 4900 he is a good value in this game.
SGJimmy ButlerCle@ Chi7600With Rose being banged up, Butler has proven he can handle the scoring load. Look for him to go for at least 25 in this one.
SFMarcus MorrisDet @Atl4500A solid double - double would be a huge bonus on opening night.
PFAnthony DavisNO @GS10400Could be the best overal fantasy basketball player in the league. Expect him to make a good impression on the defending champs.
CTimofey MozgovCle @Chi4600With T.T. just signing, Mozgov should be getting extra minutes for a while.
GJeff TeagueDet@ Atl7000Teague is one of the more underrated guards in the league. Steady and consistent.
FTaj GibsonCle@ Chi3900Last spot to fill and had little to play with. Gibson could be good if he gets the minutes.
UTILDraymond GreenNO@ GS6900GS spreads the ball around so much, but Green normally gets enough minutes never to have a total dud.

Over the course of the first few weeks you might be able to find some sleepers.  However, you will also find some bad plays and then you will be able to develop some patterns in picking your winners for each contest.

Best of luck to everyone.

Hi, my name is Johnny Giovonni. I am in the financial services industry and own my own business on the side. I work too much and golf too little. That is why I helped create this site, so I could at least have the dream of golfing everyday. Also, I am a huge numbers person and have researched many advanced gaming theories and other nerd stuff like the Rule of 72 and Benford's Law. When I am not working I am either golfing, watching sports, or researching statistics for my weekly and daily fantasy picks. I am under full belief there is an enormous advantage to be had with information when picking your lineups every week. I hope to bring that knowledge to this website. I look forward to writing and responding to your comments. Check out some of our course reviews, fantasy sports picks and as always, provide any feedback!

  1. Just found you and used your picks for this week. How is your track record? I am a working guy and not enough time to do the research. It looks like you have researched everything.

    1. Hi Dave,

I use my own money for these picks. I pick others too but this is my own lineup. I recommend 50/50’s, they are easier to place, Between FanDuel and Draftkings I am up on the year overall. HOWEVER, I would recommend to never play more than you can afford to lose and hopefully these picks can help. Also, research other picks and come to a conclusion. I take some advice and reject some others. Best of luck. Also, before the games start always double check your lineup. Late injuries etc may not be announced. Good luck.

    1. Thanks Kenny! Yeah, it can be tough to win tournaments without that one sleeper. I’d recommend playing a few 50/50, so even with a loss in a tournament a good lineup can make you some money on the night. Good luck my friend!
