Johnny G’s DraftKings & FanDuel NHL Picks 10-19-17

It’s a 9 game NHL slate on Thursday, October 19th.

Johnny G invites the NHL experts from Hammer DFS to share some of their research and insights to help you build your rosters and cross the money line in your DFS contests.

Tomorrow the Dallas Stars travel to Arizona.  Give me all of the Dallas.  I really Like the way Alexander Radulov has been playing, the puck is on his stick every time he hits the ice.  Arizona is starting Adin Hill, a 21-year-old Rookie 3rd round pick who made his NHL debut against Dallas last week.  Hill did well stopping 31 of 33 shots, but I think Dallas will score more tomorrow night.  Also, I like Ben Bishop as a cash game goalie.  He stopped 27 of 28 shots against Arizona last week and he is 3-1 on the year with a .944 save % and 1.49 GAA.

For a GPP goalie I like Andrei Vasilevskiy.  He has a tough matchup on the road in Columbus, but the guy is getting some serious offensive support right now and he is 5-1 with a .914 save %.  He is only $7300 on DraftKings and could be a sneaky play.  I also like Hank Lundqvist at home against the Islanders.  For a gpp play at C I like Valtteri Filppula.  He has 4 goals and 5 points in his last 3 games, mainly stemming from his time on the top power play unit.  Sean Couturier is another great play from the flyers as he is centering the top line of Jakub Voracek and Claude Giroux, who are also great plays.
