Johnny G’s MLB DraftKings & FanDuel Home Run Predictions 9-26-17

There’s a full prime time slate on Tuesday, September 26th as all 15 games start at 7:05 pm ET or later.  There will be plenty of quality arms to choose from as you make your lineups.  Sale, Ray, Paxton, Wood, Keuchel, Gio, CMart, and Arrieta are all in action.  There will also be some pitchers to target against: Big Sexy, Anibal, and Moore at Chase Field.

Johnny G invites the MLB experts from Hammer DFS to take an early look at who they predict will go deep to help you fill out your rosters on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Up and down your squad, everyone needs home runs in their DFS lineups.  From your high-priced stars hitting value with one swing to your low-owned, minimum-priced punt helping you take down a big dollar contest, we all dig the long ball.  The experts will be digging through the match-ups and stats to find players in good spots and sharing them with you.

If you need more than a four-bagger to get your bankroll growing, Hammer DFS has a full-service chat to get you back on track.  Check out a sample of what their members pulled in recently:Hammer wins Fanduel contest

Here are Johnny G’s Home Run predictions for 9/26/17:

Chris: The Brew Crew are still fighting for a Wild Card spot, so we don’t have to worry about effort in this one.  The Reds have a 28 year-old named Deck McGuire making his first career start.  That’s a little old for a debut, so we don’t have to worry about a top prospect with overpowering stuff here.  Eric Thames has been crushing baseballs over the last 2 weeks.  His exit velocity is up to 97 mph after averaging 93 mph for the season.  More impressive is his hard contact rate of 61% over his last 9 games, up 20% over his season long average.

Speaking of 97 mph exit velocity, Nelson Cruz has the same EV over his last 13 games.  This is also 4 mph faster than his season average.  His hard contact rate is up to 53% (up 13% over his season average) and his batted ball distance is a massive 255 feet.  He has 4 dongs in his last 6 games and gets Daniel Mengden, who he’s 1 for 3 with a double against.  Check the DraftKings pricing.  For some unknown reason he was only $2900 yesterday.
