Johnny G’s 2015 PGA Championship Fantasy Golf Picks

Well, it is that time of the year again golf fans.  School is almost back in session and the fall is nearing.  The PGA Championship marks the final major of the year and there are some very exciting headlines.

Can Tiger keep improving?  Will Rory even play at the PGA?  Can Spieth get 3 out of 4 majors for the year?   All good questions and we will find out next week.

FANTASY GOLF MILLIONAIRE MAKER

The course should be in good shape and I do expect birdies to be made. The last 2 tournaments there had plenty of them. Now, if the wind is gusty it will make it tough. Either way, you will see birdies but many double bogeys as well. Get a bit of course and the bad lies will catch up with you.

Overall I would say a guy with some distance here is at an advantage, but Zach Johnson has proved us that an amazing short game and hot putter can cure any lack of distance on any course around the world.

Well here is a solid DraftKings lineup for the P.G.A. Championship:

Jordan Spieth – $12,500

Tim Clark – 5,900

Camilo Villegas – 6,000

Dustin Johnson – 11,200

Pat Perez – 6,000

Zach Johnson – 8,400

PGA Championship Sleepers and Long Shots

1.  Charles Howell III – Can he ever play well in a big tourney?  Well, he has the game, so maybe this time.  He played 3 good rounds the other week then faded on Sunday.

2. Ben Martin – Yes, he is the kind of guy that posts a T4 and you are like “Who is that?”.  Quiet but good.

I doubt this will be similar to any other fantasy expert picks, but that is okay.  No one wants to hear Adam Scott as a sleeper…

Soon the FedEx Cup will be starting and we will be chatting about the fall series.  Amazing how quick the year has gone.  In my one fantasy golf league I am still in 4th place and need a late charge to get back into the big prize spots!
