Jack Nicklaus has launched a line of premium ice cream.
The ice cream is a joint venture with Schwan Food Company. Jack Nicklaus Ice Cream will be available in seven flavors. The news was announced on Nicklaus’ website on Tuesday.
“It’s no secret that I love ice cream,” Nicklaus said. “Needless to say, I have never had so much fun in the research and development of a product. The team at Schwan has a world-class product development center. Together, we have created a variety of flavors—all with real ingredients—for a quality, premium ice cream at a value price.”
The product will be sold in pints at a suggested retail price of $1.99. It will be available in select markets beginning in March.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the ice cream will go to the Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation (nchcf.org). The Foundation’s goal is to provide families access to world-class pediatric healthcare.
The Golden Bear’s frozen treat is making its debut at this weekend’s Honda Classic at PGA National.
The 3 Jack Almanac would like to make sure it is known that we are available for product reviews. Samples may be shipped to 3JA Headquarters (please?).
