If you want to see how Johnny G picked last week, check out his other post for this week about the Sanderson Farms tournament. I don’t want to talk myself up too much, so go to that post if you want a recap. But you probably just want this week’s fantasy golf picks or you would not be here in the first place.
Ok, here are my expert fantasy golfers for the week:
2014 WGC HSBC Championship
Bringing out the big guns for this huge tournament.
1. Sergio Garcia – As we saw last week, he is on top of his game, which of late means playing great and finishing 2nd – 5th. A win has to be near for one of the best players in the world over the past 15 years.
2. Martin Kaymer – His US Open letdown is over. A decent Ryder Cup and now he is ready to get back to the top of the pack. He won’t fiddle with his swing like he did after winning his last major, so I expect another good year from Martin. Also, remember the Euro’s are still playing the 2014 season.
3. Justin Rose – Almost wins in Europe and is streaky by nature. Henceforth, pick him this week. It is not a tough choice. Great iron player and his putter gets hot as well.
4. Louis Oosthuizen – Yes, I had to Google how to spell his name. Who cares, I don’t. He will win another major again soon, unless he is working on his farm again. C’mon Louie, please play golf with the soulless fashion of so many others. Just kidding……
I hate to waste picks on Garcia, since he plays in the US so much now, but he is hot. The others do not play over here quite as much so the 10 pick limit should not really be as important.
Good luck! Hopefully my Week 5 fantasy golf picks will help you win your league!
