Johnny G’s 2015 Week 5 DraftKings College Football Fantasy Picks 10-1-15 to 10-3-15

Another week is here and so are Johnny G’s CFB DraftKings lineups! I want to talk briefly about the importance of diversification in your lineups. I would prefer to play 5 $1 games as opposed to 1 $5 game.

Last week I had some 49th, 53rd, and other close calls to finishing in the money on some 50/50 fantasy plays that were out of 100 competitors. You never know in such a small sample which players will be picked, so it helps to spread it out some in order to best hedge your bets. When you get down to the 50, 20, and 10 entry fields the variances are even greater!

DraftKings Thursday / Friday Week 5 Lineup – 10-1-15

QB	Paxton Lynch	MEM @USF	9100	Paxton is a must start this week. Until Memphis can be slowed down and the Thurs / Friday schedule, you almost have to have him or lose out big.
QB	Hayden Moore	MIA@ CIN	7200	Risky play here, but I do not trust any of the other QB's this week.
RB	Tion Green	MIA@ CIN	4400	Could get into the endzone on his 10 - 15 touches this week against an average Hurricanes team.
RB	Arkeel Newsome	CONN @BYU	4900	This game scares me, but Uconn might be able to hang in there. The over under is low, so I think this could be a 20-17 game. Either way, have to find value with the expensive QB's.
WR	Devon Blackmon	CONN@ BYU	4000	With BYU losing the starting QB, not sure about who the real #1 will be. Blackmon is due for another good game though.
WR	Mose Frazier	MEM @USF	6500	Memphis should score some points and Frazier should find his way into the end zone.
WR	Shaq Washington	MIA@ CIN	6300	Quietly becoming a very good WR, Shaq's value will rise again with a good week against the U.
FLEX	Trayone Gray	MIA @CIN	3600	He could hop in the end zone, or get nothing, but at 3600 he is worth the risk.
FLEX	D'Ernest Johnson	MEM@ USF	3800	He could get some points this week, but USF will be behind so it should be interesting to see how that changes the game plan.

QB	Trevone Boykin	UT@ TCU	9200	Huge player here. Combo him with Doctson for a huge risk/reward week. However, I do not think there is much risk involved with him.
QB	Skyler Howard	WV @OU	6500	A great sleeper pick, WVU can score points and at $6500 he could score as many points has the big names.
RB	Ke'aun Kinner	KU @ISU	4900	The real only decent fantasy player on the Jayhawks, they play an very average ISU team.
RB	Zack Langer	HOU@ TLSA	6100	He has averaged 28 carries a game!
WR	Josh Doctson	UT@ TCU	7600	A true star. NFL potential. They should score 50 points this week… again…
WR	Shelton Gibson	WV @OU	4600	Same as the QB, look to combo this duo. #1 WR potential.
WR	Brandon Reilly	NEB @IL	3700	Averages over 5 catches and 80 yards a game. At 3700 why not right!
FLEX	Chance Allen	HOU @TLSA	3700	A chance to score in what should be a high scoring affair.
FLEX	KJ Maye	Minnesota	3700	Very solid player on an below average offense, he tends to find the endzone.

QB	Brandon Allen	ARK @TENN	6300	At 6300 he has a huge upside. There are many average QB in this late game DraftKings contest, so I think he is a good play.
QB	Chad Kelly	MISS @UF	6900	Kelly is coming off a bad week, but overall he is still a good play.
RB	Royce Freeman	ORE @UC	8100	A good RB play with Oregon coming off a terrible loss. With just average QB play, they should establish the run early and often.
RB	Jeremy McNichols	HAW@ BSU	8400	Pure stud. Even if he does not play the whole game.
WR	Jamire Jordan	FRES @SDSU	4200	An all around star on a terrible team.
WR	Drew Morgan	ARK @TENN	4700	Huge game last week could have been his coming out party. If he does it again he wont be 4700 any more.
WR	Ethan Wolf	ARK@ TENN	3500	Needed to save some money here, Wolf is a decent play at 3500.
FLEX	Antonio Callaway	MISS@ UF	3800	Callaway has the potential to hit some big plays.
FLEX	Jasen Oden Jr.	CSU @UTST	4000	Not many has heard of him, but I have. So get him in your lineup this week.
