What a finish to The Masters! Johnny G’s fantasy lineup did fairly well, earning some GPP cash and 50/50 victories. Let us keep the momentum going this week down South as the PGA Tour heads to Harbour Town for some Hilton Head golf. You have to hit fairways and greens here. A tight course where distance is not the primary focal point of a winner.
Note: Furyk is not playing this week, even though he is the defending champ.
This is an interesting event. One of the stable quality stops on Tour, it is a week after a major, so you do get some letdown among the players. However, some tend to ride the momentum into this week. I look at who tends to play here in the past. Furyk comes right to mind as does Kisner who played great last year as well.
DL III used to own this event and still has some game. Boo Weekley was a back to back champ to end last decade, so you see there is a mix of high and low value guys that could make a great GPP lineup. We will know more once the salaries come out. Also, keep an eye out for withdrawals as some guys want to rest after having their minds tested at Augusta all week.
