After a week off the golf dfs contests are back for the PGA Tour.
The first thing to note is are you playing a cash game or a gpp entry? That will determine much of your strategy, even though some lineups work well for both.
I want to talk a little this week about the small field. With only 30 guys in the event you need to find a low owned guy when taking down a GPP. Think S. Kim as an example. Now, for a favorite that is probably under priced and a great deal:
Patrick Reed: If he wins he gets the FedEx Cup. Even a strong finish could grab him the title. Guy just wants to win and will be getting pumped for the Ryder Cup as well.
Another solid pick who should be a great cash / gpp play this week:
Adam Scott: Many guys are going to pick DJ, so Scott is actually a better fit for the course. Note, that DJ has many top 5’s here, he just has not win, so remember how you are picking cash vs gpp games.
