Just three games on the NHL schedule today, including the Penguins taking on the Rangers in New York for NBC’s game of the week. The Blue Jackets host the Lightning and the Maple Leafs travel to take on the Red Wings in the other games.
It’s not impossible to win a contest when your goalie takes a loss, but it sure makes it difficult. Ownership rates will likely be through the roof, but we’re taking Jimmy Howard. Detroit should handle Toronto, so we’re counting on solid points from the goalie slot. Don’t expect 10 FPP from Darren Helm again, but he has exceeded projections three games in a row now

Be sure to always check your lineups before they lock. Sometimes late injuries, scratches, etc. can cause some great values to be unlocked right before the NHL puck drops. If you want to win, you really need to check your fantasy lineups frequently on game day. Just use my lineup as a template to start your DFS research.
