Cash Plays
From a daily fantasy perspective, Orlando was weak against the center position last season. This puts Hassan Whiteside in a good spot. Whiteside averaged 17 points, 14 rebounds and 2 blocks per a season ago. The Magic averaged +5 DraftKings points to centers. Look for HW to hit value tonight.
Playing the Nuggets will quicken the pace and life without Gordon Hayward means the offense needs to find someone new to run through. Enter Rodney Hood. His pricing on both sites remains modest, with FanDuel being the better bargain. Hood averaged 13 points, 3 boards, 2 assists, and hoisted 5 threes per game (37% 3PM) over 27 minutes per.
GPP Plays
If you’re playing on FanDuel, consider plugging in Jeremy Lamb. He gets the start with Batum out and is projected to play about 30 minutes, all for only $3500. You get salary relief and a great chance to exceed value at the same time. Last season, he averaged 10 points/4 rebounds/1 assist in 18 minutes per game.
Considering the Hayward injury and his performance last night, ride Jaylen Brown while he’s cheap. Offensive opportunities have opened up along with minutes. You can get him for sub-$4000 on both sites. He’s fresh off of putting up 36 DK fantasy points last night.
Look at all the lineups you will get, at a minimum, 1 cash and 1 gpp for the below for BOTH DraftKings and FanDuel. That translates to approximately:
- NBA – 120 lineups per month
- MLB – 120 lineups per month
- NHL – 120 lineups per month
- Golf – 16 lineups per month
- NFL – 16 lineups per month
- NASCAR – 8 lineups per month
- UFC – 2 per event
