Johnny G's DraftKings NBA & FanDuel NBA Picks

Johnny G’s FanDuel NBA & DraftKings NBA Lineup Picks 1-18-19

January 18th brings us one of the smaller Friday night slates that we’ve seen this season.  They’re likely crimping the hose in anticipation for Monday’s massive all day schedule.  Does anyone know what day Boogie Cousins is coming back?  Just kidding, you can’t look at anything NBA-related without seeing Boogie chatter.   So many burning Warrior questions start to get answers tonight.

Let’s take an entirely too-early look at the building blocks for the January 18th main slate.  More times than not, starting lineup announcements, breaking news, injuries, rest, etc. will affect the value of these plays and impact your roster construction.  But, the sooner we can get a feel for the slate and the optimal build, the better.

Are you looking for free DraftKings and FanDuel NBA advice?  You came to the right spot.  Johnny G invites the NBA experts from Hammer DFS to share some of their research and insights to help you build your rosters and cross the money line in your DFS contests.  If you want more, we have the perfect DFS lineup consultants as well.  Either way, we have you covered for all your fantasy sports needs.

Cash Plays

I love targeting teams that are paced up for my cash game players and whoever plays the Pelicans is a recurring place I look to.  I mentioned Evan Turner earlier this week and he will be considered, but right now I’m looking at Al-Farouq Aminu.  The guy has the kind of floor you look for in cash builds.  Whether the numbers bear this out or not, I’m not sure, but he seems to excel in paced up, more wide open games.  Take a look at his game log for the Sacramento games as a comparison.  He’s not a big assist guy, but he does a little bit of everything on the stat sheet.  He consistently receives high-20s minutes and better than 0.8 fantasy points per minute.

To say they’re easing Rondae Hollis-Jefferson back in is an understatement.  RHJ only logged 7 minutes on Wednesday.  Jared Dudley has already been ruled out, so I’m looking at DeMarre Carroll to continue to get the extra minutes.  He’s only $5000 on FanDuel and $5100 on DraftKings, but has played over 30 minutes his last two games, averaging about a 20% usage rate and 0.88 fp/min.
