Cash Plays
With the injury to Patrick Beverley, Lou Williams is an easy choice for our cash lineups. Over his last three games, he’s attempted 27 three-pointers. The increase in minutes simply gives Sweet Lou more time to score. You won’t get much in the way of ancillary stats, but that’s not where he hits value. He’s fresh off of 35-7-3 last night over 39 minutes. Williams is averaging 24.6 points over the last three games. He’s priced at $5300 on DraftKings and $5700 on FanDuel. It’s not a great matchup against New Orleans, but we’re riding the hot hand.
As a cash play, Joe Ingles has been very consistent. He’s hit salary-based projections in all but two games this season. He’s $5600 on DraftKings and $5700 on FanDuel, so there’s been a slight bump in salary, but he’s averaged 26.02 DraftKings points in 11 games this season. There’s not a huge amount of upside, but he’ll log about 30 minutes, take 9 field goal attempts and shoots 44% from the field. Five of his field goals will be from long-range, where he’s hitting 45.2%.
GPP Plays
Can we trust Marcin Gortat? He checks a bunch of my GPP boxes, but has laid two eggs in a row. He can be prone to foul trouble, and was last game, but a drop in usage rate is what alarms me the most. It’s a great matchup against Atlanta, however. The Hawks are giving up +11 to Centers. At $5200 on FanDuel, you’re getting him at his lowest salary of the season (2nd lowest on DraftKings at $5400). The matchup, price, and projected low ownership are where we like it to be if you want to roll the big man.
Look at all the lineups you will get, at a minimum, 1 cash and 1 gpp for the below for BOTH DraftKings and FanDuel. That translates to approximately:
- NBA – 120 lineups per month
- MLB – 120 lineups per month
- NHL – 120 lineups per month
- Golf – 16 lineups per month
- NFL – 16 lineups per month
- NASCAR – 8 lineups per month
- UFC – 2 per event
We also do playoffs and small slate events with great GPP lineups in addition. All that for one low price. Contact us at HammerDFS@gmail.com or on Twitter @HammerDFS.
We run a private group that shares NBA lineup tips, as well as other DFS sports, and are a growing group of diverse individuals who enjoy to play DFS, have some laughs, and win some cash while we are at it.
As always, be sure to check for final NBA fantasy lineup before they lock. Last minute injuries and “resting” players are always a risk, so be diligent and follow-up accordingly.
