We’re back to some day baseball on Wednesday, June 21, 2017. Scherzer starts on the early slate. Verlander vs. Paxton highlights the late slate.
Johnny G invites the MLB experts from Hammer DFS to take an early look at who they predict will go deep to help you fill out your rosters on DraftKings and FanDuel.
Up and down your squad, everyone needs home runs in their DFS lineups. From your high-priced stars hitting value with one swing to your low-owned, minimum-priced punt helping you take down a big dollar contest, we all dig the long ball. The experts will be digging through the match-ups and stats to find players in good spots and sharing them with you.
If you need more than a four-bagger to get your bankroll growing, Hammer DFS has a full-service chat to get you back on track. Check out a sample of what their members pulled in recently:
Here are Johnny G’s Home Run predictions for 6/21/17:
Garret: Andrew McCutchen has 5 dongs in the past 7 days and he gets to play in the dong dome one more night facing Junior Guerra. Guerra has started 6 games this year and given up 6 homers. 5 of those 6 have been to right-handed hitters. Cutch is getting hot and I think he dongs another tomorrow.
Alex: Matt Holliday is 12 – 26 vs Ricky Nolasco in his career with 2 HR. Holliday has been destroying RHP in June with a .447 wOBA and a 36% hard hit and a 50% fly ball rate. Holliday has 3 HRs in june all against RHP.
Chris: We can’t leave this article without picking on the spot starter for the Padres, Miguel Diaz. He’s a hard thrower that doesn’t miss many bats. His last appearance in Milwaukee was 3.1 IP giving up 4 runs and 2 dongs. Anthony Rizzo has been on fire since moving to the leadoff spot. He has a 14 game hit streak and 4 HRs in his last 7 games. Only 3 times in his last 14 games has he not produced double-digit FanDuel points.
Want a cheaper option? Drop down a spot in the projected order and save $1000 in salary with Ian Happ. He also has 4 HRs in his last 7 games, with 5 of those games going for double-digit FanDuel points.
