It’s a travel day in MLB this Monday, June 5, 2017 with only 7 games scheduled. The highlight being the last game of the evening; Nationals at Dodgers.
Johnny G invites the MLB experts from Hammer DFS to take an early look at who they predict will go deep to help you fill out your rosters on DraftKings and FanDuel.
Up and down your squad, everyone needs home runs in their DFS lineups. From your high-priced stars hitting value with one swing to your low-owned, minimum-priced punt helping you take down a big dollar contest, we all dig the long ball. The experts will be digging through the match-ups and stats to find players in good spots and sharing them with you.
If you need more than a four-bagger to get your bankroll growing, Hammer DFS has a full-service chat to get you back on track. Check out a sample of what their members pulled in recently:
Here are Johnny G’s Home Run predictions for 6/5/17:
Garret: Kris Bryant is 4 for 7 with two homers off of Dan Straily. Straily has pitched very well this year, but one stat stood out to me; 6 of the 7 dongs he’s given up this year are to right-handed hitters. Righties have a .431 SLG % opposed to a .286 % for Lefties. With Bryant heating up, I’ll bet he can put one out of Wrigley Field tomorrow night.
Alex: Carlos Beltran is 6-24 vs. Ian Kennedy with 2 HRs. Beltran has 5 HRs vs RHP since May. Kennedy has allowed a 43% hard hit and 44% fly ball rate.
Chris: Left-handed power bats are the way to go in Atlanta’s new stadium and Pivetta gives them up, so I’m riding the Matt Adams train today. Adams has been great since joining the Braves. He had 2 dongs on Saturday and took Garrett deep yesterday. It feels like chasing, but the match up is too good today.
