The weekend is upon us with every team in action on Friday, August 4. Two games will start before 7:00 pm ET: Nats at Cubs and Cards at Reds. Yu Darvish makes his Dodger debut against deGrom in New York. James Paxton visits Kauffman Stadium. MadBum hosts the D-Backs. Also, don’t forget Big Sexy facing the Rangers at Target Field.
Johnny G invites the MLB experts from Hammer DFS to take an early look at who they predict will go deep to help you fill out your rosters on DraftKings and FanDuel.
Up and down your squad, everyone needs home runs in their daily fantasy lineups. From your high-priced stars hitting value with one swing to your low-owned, minimum-priced punt helping you take down a big dollar contest, we all dig the long ball. The experts will be digging through the match-ups and stats to find players in good spots and sharing them with you.
If you need more than a four-bagger to get your bankroll growing, Hammer DFS has a full-service chat to get you back on track. Check out a sample of what their members pulled in recently:
Here are Johnny G’s Home Run predictions for 8/4/17:
Alex: Andrew McCutchen has hit 5 HRs since the all-star break, 4 of those off of LHP. Against lefties since the break, McCutchen has a 54.6% hard hit, 63.3% fly ball, .609wOBA and a solid .800 ISO. Here he gets Travis Wood who has allowed a 1.1HR/9, .361 wOBA and a 40% fly ball to Right handed bats since July 2nd.
Chris: Mike Leake has had his ups and downs this season, but when he’s down, he tends to give it up in buckets. Starting at the Great American Smallpark won’t help matters. Over his career, Adam Duvall has crushed Leake to the tune of 11 for 22 with 3 doubles and 2 dongs plus 9 RBI. Not only is the BvP there for Duvall, but he’s been hot too. He’s hit in 7 of his last 8 including 4 HRs.
