Cash Plays
D’Angelo Russell missed his projection only once this season and it was against these same Orlando Magic. He was $8000 on FanDuel that game, committed 8 turnovers and still put up 30.6 FD points. Now he’s $7800 on both sites and fresh off a solid double-double vs. Atlanta. He’s taken 51 shots, including 14 threes, through 3 games. He’s averaging 7 assists and over rebounds per. I’m looking for him in the mid-30s tonight, maybe pushing the 40 fantasy point mark. Orlando gives up +3-4 points to point guards.
Victor Oladipo is only $7200 on DraftKings and has put up 41 and 51 DK points in 3 games. He gets a plus matchup against the T-Wolves tonight. He’s averaging 22/5/4 and almost 3 steals per on the young season. His minutes have increased each game as well, logging nearly 37 minutes in Miami. He should be popular after a strong game, but his floor makes him tough to pry out of our cash lines, especially with only a modest bump in salary.
GPP Plays
A huge value over on DraftKings is Lauri Markkanen for the Bulls. At $5700, he’s averaging 15 points, 10 rebounds, and 35 minutes over his two games. He’s also hoisting up 7 threes per game (5 for 14). He’s got that GPP upside that could end up 6x-7x value if he has a good shooting night.
