11 Games tonight with some nice match-ups.
Johnny G invites the NHL experts from Hammer DFS to share some of their research and insights to help you build your rosters and cross the money line in your DFS contests.
Pittsburgh is at the bottom in Team GAA. That’s mostly from Neimi being dead last in the league at .797 save percentage. That’s also why he was placed on waivers on Monday. Edmonton comes to town tonight, boasting the highest amount of shots per game. Sounds like a cash game play, right? Hold on a minute – Pittsburgh is #3 in shot blocks. Schultz, Dumoulin, and Cole are all 3 approaching 20 blocks. Of the 3, Schultz gets PP time on the 2nd PP. Edmonton and Pittsburgh are both in or near the top 10 in Shots per game; Pittsburgh is dead last in GA per game, and Edmonton is #11 is GA per game. I think this game has cash potential on both sides of the red line. Schultz sticks out because of his blocks, and so does Klefblom for Edmonton. I think those guys need to be included tonight, regardless of any other players you roster from these guys tonight.
Max Pacioretty is leading the Habs in shots at 33, but he has only 1 goal to show for it so far. Florida is giving up 36.4 shots per game. I think tonight at home is when Pacioretty gets back on track. His linemate, Andrew Shaw has also racked up an impressive 22 shots with just one assist. Against a team like Florida, this is great shot to get some sneaky points out of those 2 guys. Shaw isn’t on the PP, so you need to weigh that with your consideration for picks.
