The 2016 WGC Cadillac Championship takes us to the famed Blue Monster at Doral to host one of the more premier events of the PGA season. Probably the deepest field yet to date as Day, McIlroy and Spieth are all in the field. Do not forget about Bubba and Dustin as well. In fact, 48 of the top 50 golfers in the world are here this week.
Looking back over the last few years, long hitters seem to do quite well here. Bubba Watson and Dustin Johnson seem to feast on the Par 72 course and I do not see why that would be any different this year. With DJ coming off a win here and Bubba posting solid results, I will try to get at least one of these guys in my lineup, salary of course will be an issue.
Adam Scott has played well here, but it is so hard to win back to back on Tour that I think he may be overpriced. He is very hot though and has proven he does not need a long putter to win out here. I also like Bill Haas as a mid range play who is solid in 50/50 contests.
I am also a huge Danny Willet fan and see him contending in the majors this year. If he is well priced this week, grab him.
