The tour victory that really stands out in Andres’ career is the win he earned in the 2009 Saskatchewan Open playing on the competitive Canadian Tour. This is the win that put him on the map and gave the media something to talk about. Not only that, but the win secured him an international victory that not many golfers can claim they’ve achieved.
In 2015 alone, Gonzales has secured upwards of $643,894 in winnings and keeps on performing under the pressure. The PGA Tour 2015 World Gold Ranking places Andres Gonzales as the 229th best player in the world.
Andres went on from his 2009 win and secured two more notable victories in the Web.com tour. On April 8th, 2012 Andres took first place in the Soboba Golf Classic with a final score of -8. This final score put him ahead of fellow USA golfer Andrew Svoboda by 2 strokes.
Electrified and excited about his 2012 victory, Gonzales went on to win another Web.com tour in the Utah Championship. The victory took place on July 14th and ended with a final score of -21. This placed him 4 strokes ahead of the runner up, Adam Crawford from Australia.
