DraftKings PGA Advice
The first thing to note is are you playing a cash game or a gpp entry? That will determine much of your strategy, even though some lineups work well for both. Knowing the recent trends, course history, and weather conditions are all vital in building a fantasy golf lineup each and every week.
2017 Torrey Pines – Farmers Insurance Open
Big Cat returns this week and will certainly command most of the attention. But should he be on your fantasy team? If you are building 50 lines it would be foolish to not have him on a few, but I still cannot roster a guy who has not at least performed to an average level in the past 18 months.
Torrey Pines is a long golf course to say the least at almost 7700 yards. It is a par 72 but still, that is long. Quite a few of the top 25 our in town, including Jason Day and Dustin Johnson. With their length alone warrants looking at. Day has a win here and should be a solid cash line play. Snedeker won here last year and also has GREAT history here with a win in 2012 and a couple second place finishes as well. If you are looking to save some cash, Leishman might be able to do that. While he is not playing great, he does have two 2nd place finishes here, making him a viable sleeper of sorts.
