Wednesday, January 3rd brings a hefty 12 game NBA slate to us. The Harden-less Rockets play in Orlando. The Thunder will visit the Lakers. The highlight of the night is most likely the Celtics hosting the Cavs.

Cash Plays
Will Barton has logged at least 31 minutes in three straight games now. He’s $6500 on DraftKings, $6600 on FanDuel and draws a weak Phoenix team on the 2nd night of a back-to-back. Barton has hit for 6x value in three of his last four games. He’s seen his fantasy points per minute climb to .98 over the past month, an increase from his season long average, and is projected to play 32+ minutes.
FanDuel has essentially priced him out of cash games ($6700), but Bismack Biyombo is a good value on DraftKings at $5600 with an excellent floor recently. He’s logging at least 28 minutes, has 13 blocks over his last four and has three consecutive double-doubles. The Rockets give up +2 over projections to bigs and will play without James Harden. He’s eligible at Center or Power Forward on DK.
GPP Plays
Serge Ibaka picked up right where he left off going for 7x value against Milwaukee in his first game back New Year’s day. Tonight he gets a decent matchup on the road against the Bulls. If he hits the 30 minutes mark, he should be flirting with a double-double. Ibaka does a little of everything which helps make him a safe play. He has a slightly better price on DraftKings at $5300, but he’s still in play at $5800 on FanDuel. Dating back to early December, Serge has hit or exceeded projections in an amazing 12 of 14 games.
Look at all the lineups you will get, at a minimum, 1 cash and 1 gpp for the below for BOTH DraftKings and FanDuel. That translates to approximately:
- NBA – 120 lineups per month
- MLB – 120 lineups per month
- NHL – 120 lineups per month
- Golf – 16 lineups per month
- NFL – 16 lineups per month
- NASCAR – 8 lineups per month
- UFC – 2 per event
