There are 12 games scheduled for Thursday, August 24th. It’s an even split; 6 games will make an afternoon early slate and 6 games will make up the main slate. The matchup with the highest profile has to be Strasburg vs. Keuchel at the Juice Box. Chris Sale visits the Tribe. Robbie Ray gets a road start against what’s left of the Mets.
Johnny G invites the MLB experts from Hammer DFS to take an early look at who they predict will go deep to help you fill out your rosters on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Here are Johnny G’s Home Run predictions for 8/24/17:
Garret: Nick Castellanos absolutely crushes left-handed pitching. In fact, that whole lineup in Detroit does. I can’t wait to make my Tiger stack against Jaime Garcia. I really hope Castellanos hits In the 2 spot in the order, as it seems he always hits better when he does. He is hitting 45.6% hard contact off of lefties and 45.6% medium contact. That means he only makes soft contact against left handers 8.7% of the time and he sports a 30.6% HR/FB ratio. 11 of his 18 homers have come against lefties and I think he gets one tomorrow.
Alex: 53.3% hard hit, 46.7% fly ball, .500 ISO, .533 wOBA and 3 HRs: those are the numbers Howie Kendrick has put up vs lefties in August. Today he gets Dallas Keuchel (who he’s 8-18 with a HR against). Now, don’t get me wrong Keuchel is no walk in the park, he’s been pretty good his last 2 starts, but I think Howie gets a hold of one here.
Chris: Jorge Polanco can’t possibly make it 5 straight games with a dong, can he? If Derek Holland is pitching, he sure can. Donglanco has already taken Holland deep once in 7 ABs. Granted, that is his only hit, but he’s made contact evidenced by no strikeouts. And really this is all about the heater he’s on. Holland is getting abused when he throws and the Twins have been scoring in bunches. If they get to him today, chances are Polanco is in the middle of it.
