Johnny G’s MLB DraftKings & FanDuel Home Run Predictions 6-19-17

It’s Gas Can Monday on June 19, 2017.  Out of the 11 games on the schedule, there are five starters with an ERA over 5.00 taking the hill today.  Oh, plus a guy named Kershaw…

Johnny G invites the MLB experts from Hammer DFS to take an early look at who they predict will go deep to help you fill out your rosters on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Up and down your squad, everyone needs home runs in their DFS lineups.  From your high-priced stars hitting value with one swing to your low-owned, minimum-priced punt helping you take down a big dollar contest, we all dig the long ball.  The experts will be digging through the match-ups and stats to find players in good spots and sharing them with you.

If you need more than a four-bagger to get your bankroll growing, Hammer DFS has a full-service chat to get you back on track.  Check out a sample of what their members pulled in recently:

Here are Johnny G’s Home Run predictions for 6/19/17:

Chris: Daniel Gossett gets the start for Oakland as they host the Astros.  Gossett’s only start this season didn’t exactly go well as he posted -5 FanDuel points, giving up 7 runs in 3.1 IP.  Over his last 10 games, Brian McCann is leading Houston in Batted Ball Distance (243 feet) and Hard Contact Rate (50%).  He’s averaging 94 mph Exit Velocity over that span.  McCann is crushing the ball and has a great opportunity today, as does the entire team.  Houston is an early candidate for stacks in my lineups.

Another candidate I’m looking to stack today are the Mariners since the Tigers have announced Anibal Sanchez will start the series opener.  There’s been a power outage from Seattle’s big names, Cano & Cruz.  Neither one has gone deep since June 6th.  I’m targeting Robinson Cano for a dong today.  He’s hit safely in 10 of his last 11 games, 4 of them multi-hit games, and his price on FanDuel is down to $3300(?!).  The hits are there and the runs should come with an implied run total of 5.2 vs. Sanchez.  I expect Robbie to be heavily involved in the offense today.

Who do you think will hit a home run today?  Let us know in the comments!

This is just the tip of the iceberg of research these MLB lineup experts put in every single day over at Hammer.  If you like what you read or if you’re not winning your daily fantasy baseball contests, it’s worth it to see what they can do for you.  Send them an email here or a message on Twitter @HammerDFS to get started on your path to green.
