The weekend series begin on Friday, July 21 with 15 games. Scherzer is in Arizona taking on Godley. Chris Sale visits Trout and the Angels. Also, as the drool builds in the corners of our mouths, the Astros will face Ubaldo Jimenez at Camden Yards.

Here are Johnny G’s Home Run predictions for 7/21/17:
Garret: James Shields is giving up 2.34 HR/9. Poor guy can hardly get his fastball to move anymore . Mike Moustakas has a 51% FB rate for the month of July with 33% Hard contact. 40% Hard contact against RHP. Shields’ outing should not be complete without a Moose Dong ! 😬
Alex: Dustin Pedroia has a .379 AVG with a HR, 8 RBIs and 0 Ks since the break. Pedey has a decent .285 wOBA vs Nolasco, but seriously its NOLASCO. He might as well throw batting practice giving up a 2.1 HR/9 vs righties.
Chris: Evan Gattis has found his power stroke lately. He has 8 XBHs, including 5 HRs, in his last 8 starts. Gattis is 4 for 11 with a double and a home run against Ubaldo for his career. Gattis is averaging 255 feet Batted Ball Distance over his last 6 games (up 36 feet over his yearlong average). Over the same period, he’s averaging 94 mph Exit Velocity (up 3 mph) and his Hard Hit % is up 4%. Ubaldo is averaging 5 earned runs in less than 5 innings over his last 3 starts.
