Just two games in the NHL on Friday, November 3rd, and none of the teams played last night. Expect these teams to be well rested and ready to play hard tonight.
Johnny G invites the NHL experts from Hammer DFS to share some of their research and insights to help you build your rosters and cross the money line in your DFS contests.
NJ is tough to pick players from because they are getting production from nearly everyone. It makes the most sense to go with the 2nd line on the road because the home team gets the last change and can pick whomever they want to defend with their best players. Taylor Hall is leading NJ in scoring, so it stands to reason he will see the least amount of open ice. Therefore, you will want to use Henrique, Bratt, and Johansson. Will Butcher has 11 assists and is on the pp1 with Henrique and Bratt. Johansson is not on pp1, so you may want to switch off of him for someone else.
With Ryan Getzlaf back on IR, the Ducks have recalled Kalle Kossila from their San Diego affiliate. In relief of Getzlaf earlier this season, he scored 1 goal and 1 assist in 2 games. He has 2 goals and 4 assists in 5 AHL games so far this season. With him playing between Richard Rakell and Corey Perry, this is a GREAT pick for a sleeper tonight against the visiting Predators, who are trying to work their way out of a -7 goal differential and are 29th in the league in goals per game.
