The weekday begins in the NHL with six games. The highlights are the Panthers/Islanders and the Blackhawks hosting the Kings.
By the time word dropped that Jimmy Howard wouldn’t be starting for Detroit, the other two games were underway. If you were using our lineup, your only option was to go with Jonathan Bernier and you’re probably glad you did. Bernier’s 12.6 FPP brought our lineup’s total to 49.1. That was easily enough to cash across the board, including GPP’s. Share a screenshot with us in the comment section if you won big last night.
We have pieces of several games, but we’re leaning on the St. Louis/Calgary game a little. Jake Allen is between the pipes. We’re also using Tarasenko and Pietrangelo in today’s lineup. The game against the Oilers would be the perfect time for Filip Forsberg to get back to piling up the points also.

Be sure to always check your lineups before they lock. Sometimes late injuries, scratches, etc. can cause some great values to be unlocked right before the NHL puck drops. If you want to win, you really need to check your fantasy lineups frequently on game day. Just use my lineup as a template to start your DFS research.
