What a weird week at the Zurich Classic. Not a great lineup as of Sunday so we are looking to go for a huge week this week as the tour heads to the Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow in North Carolina. Hopefully it will be drier than it was last week. What happened to Justin Rose?!
If you remember last year McIlroy put on a clinic on his way to an easy victory. While he is not playing great, he does play great here. You might want to play up to his value. I also like Dustin Johnson this week, even though he has not played all that great here. For some of the lower value plays, look for D. Ernst to continue his good play, as he was a previous champ here as well. I also think Webb Simpson could be a low owned play due to his recent struggles. He has made 7/8 recent cuts. Lucas Glover has somewhat found his game again and has a good record here.
I would avoid Furyk, even though he loves it here it is his first week back.
On a side note, Anthony Kim won here in 2008. Anybody with an AK sighting lately?
Note: DJ is OUT!
