Wednesdays can be so much fun for MLB DFS and July 19th is shaping up to be a good one. There are 15 games scheduled and they are spread out through the day. Seven games will be in action by 3:45 pm ET with the remaining eight games making up the main slate.
The day slate has several intriguing pitching matchups including Montgomery vs. Berrios, Paxton vs. Morton in Houston, and Faria vs. Sonny Gray.
Additionally deGrom, Greinke, and Gio Gonzalez will be in action on the main slate.
Johnny G invites the MLB experts from Hammer DFS to take an early look at who they predict will go deep to help you fill out your rosters on DraftKings and FanDuel.
Up and down your squad, everyone needs home runs in their DFS lineups. From your high-priced stars hitting value with one swing to your low-owned, minimum-priced punt helping you take down a big dollar contest, we all dig the long ball. The experts will be digging through the match-ups and stats to find players in good spots and sharing them with you.

Here are Johnny G’s Home Run predictions for 7/19/17:
Garret: In 2016 Robinson Cano was 20 for 42 with 7 Dongs at Minute Maid Park! He loves hitting in this park, and he loves punishing the Astros. Today he gets the only pitcher I would pick against for Houston in Charlie Morton. Cano is batting .279 with 14 homers against RHP and he’s been hot lately. I say he goes yard in the Juice Box tomorrow.
Alex: Washington has been scorching hot coming out of the break. In the middle of their lineup we have Bryce Harper, who is 11-23 vs Nolasco with 2 Hrs. Harper has been white-hot in July posting a .608 wOBA and an insane .515 ISO vs RHP thus far.
Chris: Soft-tossing Martin Perez and Camden Yards won’t likely be a good mix. You may not have noticed Manny Machado heating up. We all knew he would; he’s too good to be hitting below .225. Even through his 1st half struggles, there’s an extreme split with Manny: the bulk of his struggles are against power pitchers. For the season, he’s only hitting .107 against pitchers classified as power pitchers. He has been handling finesse pitchers all along with a .304 BA vs. that classification.
