Johnny G’s MLB DraftKings & FanDuel Home Run Predictions 9-29-17

We’re loading up for the final series of the regular season starting Friday, September 29th.  The best matchups of the day might be Greinke at Kansas City, Strasburg hosting the Pirates, or Tanaka at home vs. the Blue Jays.  Good pitchers in bad spots include Ryu at Coors and Gohara in Miami.  The Phillies will get the last crack at Matt Harvey this season.  The Tigers have the last shot at Kyle Gibson.  Also, it’s the Giants that draw Jordan Lyles’ season finale

Johnny G invites the MLB experts from Hammer DFS to take an early look at who they predict will go deep to help you fill out your rosters on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Up and down your squad, everyone needs home runs in their DFS lineups.  From your high-priced stars hitting value with one swing to your low-owned, minimum-priced punt helping you take down a big dollar contest, we all dig the long ball.  The experts will be digging through the match-ups and stats to find players in good spots and sharing them with you.

Here are Johnny G’s Home Run predictions for 9/29/17:

Chris: He’s only had two plate appearances against Joe Biagini, but one of them was a 3-run shot for Greg Bird.  Over his 6 game hit streak, Bird is hitting .364 (8 for 22) with 3 doubles and 4 home runs.  Bird has the hot bat and Biagini has pitched a total of 6.1 innings over his last 2 starts, giving up 9 runs and 3 dongs.

If he gets the start, I’ll definitely have exposure to Pedro Alvarez.  He’s 8 for 19 (.421) over his last 5 starts with a double and a dong.  He’s dirt cheap and 1st base & 3rd base eligible on DraftKings.  He’s carrying a 43% hard contact rate and an average exit velocity of 92 mph.
