Thursday June 29, 2017 brings us 13 games, 5 of those games making up an early slate. Kershaw takes the mound against the Angels. Homer Bailey and his 43.20 ERA host the Brewers. Klubot faces the Rangers.
Johnny G invites the MLB experts from Hammer DFS to take an early look at who they predict will go deep to help you fill out your rosters on DraftKings and FanDuel.
Up and down your squad, everyone needs home runs in their DFS lineups. From your high-priced stars hitting value with one swing to your low-owned, minimum-priced punt helping you take down a big dollar contest, we all dig the long ball. The experts will be digging through the match-ups and stats to find players in good spots and sharing them with you.
If you need more than a four-bagger to get your bankroll growing, Hammer DFS has a full-service chat to get you back on track. Check out a sample of what their members pulled in recently:
Here are Johnny G’s Home Run predictions for 6/29/17:
Chris: I’m taking David Peralta today, but you may not like my reasoning. The first reason is BvP. The Freight Train is 5 for 7 against Lynn with a dong. Not everyone is a fan of BvP and it’s admittedly a small sample size. The other reason I’m taking Peralta is because I keep waiting for the D-Backs to break out on this home stand. Sure, they’re 4-2, but they’re only averaging 4.5 runs per game (and one of the games includes a 9-spot vs. Philly). So the day I don’t get Arizona exposure, is the day they score the 12 runs I have been waiting all week for.
I’m also riding a hot hand, taking George Springer. He’s homered in 3 straight games and has double-digit FanDuel points in 4 straight. He went 1 for 3 against Gossett 10 days ago, but homered in that game when the bullpen took over. He’s crushing the ball to the tune of 92 mph Exit Velocity and his Batted Ball Distance is 24 feet farther than his yearlong average.
