Johnny G’s MLB DraftKings & FanDuel Home Run Predictions 9-15-17

The third-to-last Friday of the regular season has arrived (I know, right?).  The Cardinals visit the Cubs in the afternoon and then the remaining 14 games will make up the main slate.  Big names taking the mound today are Severino, Wood, Sale, Ray and Paxton.  Pitchers to target today are Bartolo, Homer, and Anibal.  This slate is loaded!

Johnny G invites the MLB experts from Hammer DFS to take an early look at who they predict will go deep to help you fill out your rosters on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Up and down your squad, everyone needs home runs in their DFS lineups.  From your high-priced stars hitting value with one swing to your low-owned, minimum-priced punt helping you take down a big dollar contest, we all dig the long ball.  The experts will be digging through the match-ups and stats to find players in good spots and sharing them with you.

If you need more than a four-bagger to get your bankroll growing, Hammer DFS has a full-service chat to get you back on track.  Check out a sample of what their members pulled in recently:Hammer wins Fanduel contest

Here are Johnny G’s Home Run predictions for 9/15/17:

GarretNolan Arenado is 15 for 43 this month with 3 home runs, batting .349 with a 1.109 OPS.  He finally heads back to Colorado and gets a weak lefty on the bump in Clayton Richard.  Against Lefties this month, Arenado is hitting 45.5% Hard contact and 66.7% HR/FB.  It is not a typo lock him in!

AlexJose Abreu is off to a hot start in September slashing .326/.347/.783 with 5 HRs.  He’s had good success vs Anibal Sanchez (12-21 with 2 HRs), who has an insane 4.8 HR/9 over his last 6 starts.

Chris: I checked and double checked the numbers.  It is not a type-o.  Anthony Rendon is hitting .706 (12 for 17) against Alex Wood in 18 plate appearances.  He has a 5 game hit streak going and hits in 6 of his last 7.  He has 4 XBHs and 6 RBI during that span.  He’s a great bargain on FanDuel.  It seems like he’s stayed in the mid-$3000 salary range all season.
