Cash Plays
Kemba Walker at home is always in play, but he’s getting a great matchup against the Rockets tonight. Houston doesn’t defend Point Guards well, giving up +4.58 to the position. Kemba’s price has dipped a bit, down to $8000 on FanDuel and $7800 on DraftKings. He likes those home court rims, shooting 6 for 12 from three-point range in his two home games. He’s scoring an additional 7 FD points playing in Charlotte. He’s gotten to the free throw line 21 times in those two home games, converting 19 of them. The combination of Houston’s weak front court defense and solid game pace should give us a good floor with Walker in Cash games.
One poor game has brought Nikola Vucevic‘s price crashing down on DraftKings. After opening the season at $7400, bumping up to as high as $8300 last game, DK has brought him down to $6900 tonight. He’s still sitting at $8700 on FanDuel, so this is a DraftKings play primarily. He’s averaging 23 points, 10 boards, 2.5 assists, and 2 blocks per game so far. He faces a San Antonio team giving up +3.88 to Centers. Vucevic is such a great value tonight, it makes me wonder if it’s a glitch in the DK algorithm. Regardless, he’ll be in my DraftKings lineups.
GPP Plays
How about paying $4500 on DraftKings or $4900 on FanDuel for a guy that took 20 FG attempts last game? That would be Jamal Murray. His salary is bottoming out, but his minutes are increasing. That’s a scenario I like when it comes to NBA lineups. He didn’t touch 20 minutes his first two games and missed projections. His last two games, he’s averaging 31 minutes and +3.88. He’s running at .84 fantasy points per minute, so if we can get over the 30 minutes mark with him at that pace, we’ll be 6x value.
Look at all the lineups you will get, at a minimum, 1 cash and 1 gpp for the below for BOTH DraftKings and FanDuel. That translates to approximately:
- NBA – 120 lineups per month
- MLB – 120 lineups per month
- NHL – 120 lineups per month
- Golf – 16 lineups per month
- NFL – 16 lineups per month
- NASCAR – 8 lineups per month
- UFC – 2 per event
