Johnny G’s DraftKings & FanDuel NHL Picks 10-7-17

The NHL finally gives us a full slate of 15 games on Saturday, October 7th.  The Devils, Canucks, and Hurricanes make their season debuts today.  Meanwhile, the Flyers and Penguins will be playing their 3rd game of the season already.

Johnny G invites the NHL experts from Hammer DFS to share some of their research and insights to help you build your rosters and cross the money line in your DFS contests.

We have a Rematch from the 2016-2017 Stanley Cup Final.  One thing I know for sure is the Penguins are extremely mad and embarrassed.  They start the year off with a tough OT loss to St. Louis and got completely destroyed by Chicago 10-1 in their second game.  If you want to play this game, you should go with Jake Guentzel.  He’s sitting atop line one with Crosby and Sheary.  The reason I pick him over Sheary is that Guentzel is also on the top power play unit.

For GPP goalie, I like Jake Allen at home against Dallas.  Dallas played a very rough game against Vegas tonight and now have to travel to St. Louis who had a day off after beating the Cup winning Pens.

For your cash line, you have to go with Cam Talbot against the Vancouver Canucks.  Connor McDavid is without a doubt the best forward in the NHL and when he plays a team like the Canucks, GET HIM IN!

Low % Owned Goal: Sebastian Aho

Best chance for Hat Trick: Connor McDavid

Best chance for shutout: Cam Talbot

Sleeper Stack: Arizona- Stepan, Ekman-Larsson, Domi
