Johnny G’s MLB DraftKings & FanDuel HR Predictions 5-25-17

Johnny G invites the MLB experts from Hammer DFS to take an early look at who they predict will go deep to help you fill out your rosters on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Up and down your squad, everyone needs home runs in their DFS lineups.  From your high-priced stars hitting value with one swing to your low-owned, minimum-priced punt helping you take down a big dollar contest, we all dig the long ball.  The experts will be digging through the match-ups and stats to find players in good spots and sharing them with you.

If you need more than a four-bagger to get your bankroll growing, Hammer DFS has a full-service chat to get you back on track.  Check out a sample of what their members pulled in recently:

Here are Johnny G’s Home Run predictions for 5/25/17:

Garret: J.D. Martinez had the night off last night and faces Mike Fiers in Houston.  Fiers has not pitched well this year and has been susceptible to the long ball, especially recently.  Fiers has given up 11 dingers in the month of May. While posting a 5.13 ERA and a 3.8 HR/9. It should be no problem for last week’s “Player of the Week” to put one out of the Juice Box in Houston.

Alex: Josh Bell has 5 homers in the month of may.  Two of those coming in the last week vs RHP.  He also has a 1.017 ops and a .333 ISO.

Chris: I nearly picked Dickerson, but I think Logan Morrison will be a lower owned dong today.  Over the last two weeks, LoMo is averaging a batted ball distance of 264 feet, 43 feet farther than his season long average.  He’s averaging 95 mph exit velocity (which is up 5 mph), averaging a hard contact rate of 50% (up 12%), and carrying a 59% flyball rate.  So he’s hitting the ball hard and hitting it in the air.  Now he faces Daniel Wright, who most recently gave up 5 runs over 4 innings.  LoMo has hit safely in 10 straight games he’s started.

Who do you think will hit a home run today?  Let us know in the comments!
