If you didn’t like the small slate last night, good news, there are 10 games going in the NHL today. Key matchups include the Stars in Chicago and the Blues in San Jose, among others. It looks like a fun night for hockey.
It seems like, more times than not, small slates have lower cash lines (or is it just me?). The last paid position sat at 24 FPP in my contests last night, leaving our 28.5 point line tucked comfortably in the money.
The low price is just a bonus because I like Mike Smith at home tonight against a bad road team, if he gets the start. Familiar names fill out the roster including Burns, Kopitar, and Spezza.
Good luck!
Be sure to always check your lineups before they lock. Sometimes late injuries, scratches, etc. can cause some great values to be unlocked right before the NHL puck drops. If you want to win, you really need to check your fantasy lineups frequently on game day. Just use my lineup as a template to start your DFS research.
