My Personal DraftKings Fantasy Football Review
If you hate to read, just trust me. The free contest below is legit to new members. Then you have to actually pay, but it is worth it. The prize structure makes it so you can win some cash without always having to be near the top.
Well football fans, another year is almost upon us. Come early September most of us will have drafted our fantasy football teams.
However, say you do not want to deal with the whole process setting your lineup every week, going to a live draft, and actually spending countless hours each week picking your players. Then you have to keep up on their injuries to make sure they are ready to go by kickoff.
Instead, you might want to play a few weeks out of the year and still have the chance to win some big money!
Well, now you can.
With DraftKings fantasy football, the “king” of weekly fantasy leagues, you can pick a lineup and play just one week. It does not cost big money either, as for as little as a few bucks you can win $100,000. While not all the prizes are that big, you can have some fun and if you are good, this is a skill game, you can walk away with some extra cash in your pocket.
So how does it work?
You are given a $50,000 salary cap to draft 9 players. One QB, two RB, three WR a TE, a flex position, and a Def/ Special Team.
Thats it. Divide up the $50,000 as best you see fit. That is about $5,555 per guy. The biggest part of picking a winning combination is match-ups. Some times the best players just have a bad match-up. Whether it is a good WR with a touch CB or a great running back against a stout defensive line. These are the things that are very important to understand.
How is it scored?
Like most fantasy football set up’s, you get points for yardage and touchdowns. Passing TD’s are worth 4 pts, and scoring TD’s such as running and receiving are worth 6 pts.
I will not bore you with all the details, as if you are looking to play you do not need to be told all the rules. Also, defense/ special teams get points as well, so do not forget to choose those wisely. You can checkout the link to learn more about DraftKings rules.
Is DraftKings a scam?
Hell no! It is 100% legit and pays out fairly. I would not put my site on the line if I did not stand behind them.
Positional DraftKings Rankings
Each week I will post rankings for each position. Not simple stuff like draft Aaron Rodgers, but specific picks that will actually help you. The 3rd WR for Indy is going to have a big week, since 2 WR is out. Things like that. Stay tuned.
Feel free to sign up below. They have contests from a few cents to thousands of dollar entry fees for the high rollers.
Myself, I prefer the $3 entry for a chance to win 100k, I may do quite a few of these a week and they payout many spots.
So you want a fantasy football tip? With actual season long draft… ok fine… see below:
Here are some sleeper fantasy football rookies to draft this year
1. Melvin Gordon – RB San Diego – This guy was legit on the Big Ten at Wisconsin and should set right into the role as day 1 starter. Much like other SD RB’s, Rivers throws many TD’s, but inside the 5yd line Gordon should give the Chargers something they have not had for a while now.
2. Kevin White – WR – Chicago – This WVU product should wow people this year. Brandon who? Yes, he will be that good, especially with Alshon getting double teamed.
