Johnny G’s 11/8/15 FanDuel NBA Lineup

Sunday Nov. 8 hopefully is a rebound day from a terrible lineup I played yesterday. What the hell was I thinking with Babbitt. Swung the whole thing. Moving on.

You have to have a short memory in dfs games.

Today’s NBA games bring us some exciting match-ups and opportunities for our FanDuel lineup.

I was able to go high on Russell Westbrook and fill out the lineup with a bunch of mid range players. Hopefully this will solve the problem of the occasional dud I have hit this year. Big risks big rewards, but often you want a ‘safer’ lineup for 50/50 games where you will never have a guy below 20 fantasy points.

Fanduel Nov 1 NBA Lineup

PositionNameTeamSalaryProjections
PGR. WestbrookOKC10800If he hits his averages this lineup will win 50/50 leagues. I built it that way, so if he underperforms, we could be in trouble.
PGB. KnightPHO7000A great combo with Bledsoe, OKC does not play great D and the PHO duo should be able to score some fantasy points in this game.
SGE. BledsoePHO8000Bledsoe is one of the better SG in the league, he should get more credit than he already does.
SGCJ McCollumPor6500A hot shooter, he also can dish the ball and gets an occasional steal as well. Good all around fantasy player.
SFA. AminuPor570020 and 10 kinda guy here. He plays a bunch of minutes and normally does not have a dud game.
SFMar. MorrisDet6000Solid rebounder who shoots a good percentage from the floor. Only downside is lack of shot attempts.
PFK. PorzingisNY5200The young big man will only get better.
PFT.ThompsonCle5100You would expect more out of 80 plus million bucks, but he does rebound very well. Which guarantees him almost 20 plus fantasy points a night.
CM. PlumleePor5400A decent value, he was my last player picked and did not want to cut salary any where else.

Let’s finish the fantasy NBA week off strong!

Johnny Giovonni

Hi, my name is Johnny Giovonni. I am in the financial services industry and own my own business on the side. I work too much and golf too little. That is why I helped create this site, so I could at least have the dream of golfing everyday. Also, I am a huge numbers person and have researched many advanced gaming theories and other nerd stuff like the Rule of 72 and Benford's Law. When I am not working I am either golfing, watching sports, or researching statistics for my weekly and daily fantasy picks. I am under full belief there is an enormous advantage to be had with information when picking your lineups every week. I hope to bring that knowledge to this website. I look forward to writing and responding to your comments. Check out some of our course reviews, fantasy sports picks and as always, provide any feedback!

    1. Hi there,

I only started keeping track this year, but overall I am probably about 65% on 50/50 contests with an occasional tournament win. Sometimes I will lose a few days in row then win a few days in a row, but patience and bankroll management are key. I am sure there are people better than me, but not many post their lineups each and every day. My advice to you is to research and come up with your own lineup and not blindly just follow me or anyone else. You will learn and pick up some key points. Thank you for following!

      1. Yah i’ve been trying to use ur line up on 1 entry..but the freaking players just dnt play good sometimes haha.. well.. u have draftkings also right? im thinking transfering there instead of fanduel

        1. Ya I do DraftKings plays too. It varies, sometimes I do good on one and bad on the other. Sometimes it just doesn’t work out no matter how much research you do.
Thanks for reading. Also, check out some of the other top DFS sites in Google and see what they have to say. Sometimes if you read the same advice on the same player it then can good play if 20 different people like him. Also, always check your lineup again before tip off, because NBA guys do some late minute changes on who plays and who is hurt. Best of luck.
