Johnny G’s 2015 Farmers Insurance Open Fantasy Golf Picks

Last week’s recap: I huge Saturday almost gave Matsuyama the victory, but he fell a tad short. Still I look for him to contend in a few majors this year.  Beside for that, terrible fantasy golf picks from me last week.

This week we are at the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines.  Some big names are out this week and I picked a strong set of 4 fantasy golfers to hopefully bring home the crown.

1. Brooks Koepka – Let’s go with the hot hand. I am 4th in this league and need to make a push. I figure he is good for at least a top 10 and some points.

2. Jimmy Walker – Do you have a reason for me not to pick him?

3. Bill Haas – Steady Bill never really gets the attention he deserves. Did you forget he won the FEDEX Cup a few years ago?

4. Tiger Woods – How can he play worse? I can chip better after slamming 4 Mike’s Hard Lemonades.  You would think he saw how awful he looked and woke up this week and said “Hell, I am just going to play golf and forget about thinking.”  If he does that, he could compete this week. He has won at Torrey 8 times. If he misses the cut here………………

Should be an interesting week. Will tell us quite a bit about the spring and I am sure Augusta will get mentioned about 15 times over the weekend.

Johnny Giovonni

Hi, my name is Johnny Giovonni. I am in the financial services industry and own my own business on the side. I work too much and golf too little. That is why I helped create this site, so I could at least have the dream of golfing everyday. Also, I am a huge numbers person and have researched many advanced gaming theories and other nerd stuff like the Rule of 72 and Benford's Law. When I am not working I am either golfing, watching sports, or researching statistics for my weekly and daily fantasy picks. I am under full belief there is an enormous advantage to be had with information when picking your lineups every week. I hope to bring that knowledge to this website. I look forward to writing and responding to your comments. Check out some of our course reviews, fantasy sports picks and as always, provide any feedback!
