Johnny G’s 2015 Wells Fargo Championship Fantasy Golf Expert Picks

Last week’s recap:  The Players Championship this year was one of the most exciting tournaments I have watched in some time. Here are the key points of the week:

1. Rickie Fowler is NOT overrated.  And neither is Ricky Fowler’s girlfriend Alexis Randock. She is a hot model and probably will get even more photo shoots now and magazine covers.

2.  Sergio is close…. again.   If only one of the best ball strikers in the past 20 years could win a bit more.   Don’t forget, he is only 35 though.

3. Tiger Woods is done.  Or is he?   He plays at The Memorial in 3 weeks then again at the US Open.  We shall see.

2015 Wells Fargo Championship Fantasy Golf Predictions

1. Rory McIlroy – If he would have made a few putts at the TPC he would have been in the playoff.  Still a top 10 when not on his A game.

2. Chesson Hadley – Many of you may not know him yet but you soon will. He is a fun guy who will be in the mix for years to come. Solid iron player and a good putter.

3. Justin Thomas – Guy is super long for only 160 lbs. Was out-driving Sergio this week.

4. Kevin Na – Almost there. He is on the verge of a breakthrough win. Fun to watch as well.

Sleepers for the Wells Fargo Golf Tournament

1. Rory Sabbatini – Made a quiet, but late charge on Sunday at Sawgrass.  He tends to play well in spurts, so we look for him to post a good result this week.

With the US Open just a month or so away, we are sure to have even better story lines by then. Stay tuned.

Johnny Giovonni

Hi, my name is Johnny Giovonni. I am in the financial services industry and own my own business on the side. I work too much and golf too little. That is why I helped create this site, so I could at least have the dream of golfing everyday. Also, I am a huge numbers person and have researched many advanced gaming theories and other nerd stuff like the Rule of 72 and Benford's Law. When I am not working I am either golfing, watching sports, or researching statistics for my weekly and daily fantasy picks. I am under full belief there is an enormous advantage to be had with information when picking your lineups every week. I hope to bring that knowledge to this website. I look forward to writing and responding to your comments. Check out some of our course reviews, fantasy sports picks and as always, provide any feedback!
