Johnny G’s 2015 Zurich Classic of New Orleans Fantasy Golf Picks

Recap: Kuchar folded late to prevent Johnny G from having a great week.

Oh well, on to New Orleans – the home of this week’s PGA Tour event.  Home of many alligators as well…

Let us not waste any time. Straight to the picks.

2015 Zurich Classic Picks For Fantasy Golf

1. Dustin Johnson –  After coming back from his “time off”, Dustin has been playing like a top 10 player. And he should be, since he is one of the best in the game today. Look for him to dominate this week and that is why he is my fantasy golfer lock of the week!

2. Jason Day –  Another major, another non-victory – but his time will come. Look for a top 5 this week from the Aussie.

3. Justin Rose – A near miss at Augusta will not make Rose feel bad. In reality he was not playing all that great this year, so the T2 seems to be a boost to his momentum.

4. Charles Howell III – When will CH3 give me a good week?  Hopefully this week, but I am not holding my breath.

Sleepers & Long-shots To Win-

Daniel Berger –  This young golfer will win soon. Trust me. One of the better swings and cool personalities will go a long way on the PGA tour.

Tommy Gainey – Two Gloves has not done much over the past year or more. However, in a tournament like this he could shoot a 65 out there and get into contention. Or at least post a top 10. Either would do wonders for his confidence.

Hopefully my expert picks can match ESPN or the other projectors out there.  My guys make cuts with around a 80% hit rate so far this year.

Good luck! See you all next week!

Does anyone remember Chip Beck playing well here?  If so, you are a true golf fan.

Johnny Giovonni

Hi, my name is Johnny Giovonni. I am in the financial services industry and own my own business on the side. I work too much and golf too little. That is why I helped create this site, so I could at least have the dream of golfing everyday. Also, I am a huge numbers person and have researched many advanced gaming theories and other nerd stuff like the Rule of 72 and Benford's Law. When I am not working I am either golfing, watching sports, or researching statistics for my weekly and daily fantasy picks. I am under full belief there is an enormous advantage to be had with information when picking your lineups every week. I hope to bring that knowledge to this website. I look forward to writing and responding to your comments. Check out some of our course reviews, fantasy sports picks and as always, provide any feedback!
