Fanduel NFL DFS Strategy

Cash Games– You want to own guys that turn in consistent weeks and have solid match-ups. The goal is not to have the most points, like you would in a GPP, but to raise your floor so you can get your lineup into the money. High risk guys are not the answer here. Think steady 10 – 15 point guys that you can build your roster around.

GPP Tournaments – Here is where you want to shoot for the moon. Think long shots with good match-ups against bad defenses. Or search for an injury start or someone who will be targeted more than normal. The goal is to find low percent owned players and roster them. If they do not perform, as it often happens, it is okay because you hedged your position with a solid cash lineup.

Thursday night brings us New England, who is 2-0 without Tom Brady. And they might be without their 2nd QB this week, meaning Brissett will get the start against a strong Texans defense. In a battle of winless teams, the Browns head down to Miami to see who’s season will be over sooner. These games tend to be high scoring at times, so take the over in this one. If you want to play a contrarian GPP, try whoever plays QB for Cleveland and stack them with the TE and Coleman. Very risky, I know, but very contrarian.

Johnny Giovonni

Hi, my name is Johnny Giovonni. I am in the financial services industry and own my own business on the side. I work too much and golf too little. That is why I helped create this site, so I could at least have the dream of golfing everyday. Also, I am a huge numbers person and have researched many advanced gaming theories and other nerd stuff like the Rule of 72 and Benford's Law. When I am not working I am either golfing, watching sports, or researching statistics for my weekly and daily fantasy picks. I am under full belief there is an enormous advantage to be had with information when picking your lineups every week. I hope to bring that knowledge to this website. I look forward to writing and responding to your comments. Check out some of our course reviews, fantasy sports picks and as always, provide any feedback!
