Johnny G’s 2016 US Open Fantasy Golf and Draftkings Expert Picks

Daniel Berger took another step in his young career by winning Sunday. One of the brighter young players on the PGA Tour, look for him to take that momentum to Oakmont this week. However, the course will be on a whole other level of difficulty. The greens will be fast and the rough will be thick. The USGA will want to send a message, again, that their tournament is the truest test of golf. Will it be fair, well that is another debate.

Oakmont in 2007 is brutal. It is also home to Arnold Palmer’s last US Open in 2004. Very glad to see the US Open back to a normal type of traditional course. Last year’s west coast British was something else. Not saying it was bad, but kinda weird to watch.

2016 US Open Fantasy Golf DraftKings Lineup

R. Cabrera-Bello – 6800 * Top 20 in the Masters and in the top 30 in the world. What a bargain.
R. Goosen – 6300 * The 2x US Open champion is 12/12 in cuts made this year. Bet you didn’t know that one.
D. Johnson – 11000 * The 63 on Sunday and his season long play make me think he is ready for his 1st Major.
S. Kjeldsen – 6400 * 7th in the Masters and a top 10 in Dubai, he can play in the big events.
R. McIlroy – 12000 * While not playing great, his results have been solid for most. Always a threat.
C. Schwartzel – 7500 * With 12/13 cuts, 3 worldwide wins, you are telling me a major champion is only 7500? Book him.

Johnny Giovonni

Hi, my name is Johnny Giovonni. I am in the financial services industry and own my own business on the side. I work too much and golf too little. That is why I helped create this site, so I could at least have the dream of golfing everyday. Also, I am a huge numbers person and have researched many advanced gaming theories and other nerd stuff like the Rule of 72 and Benford's Law. When I am not working I am either golfing, watching sports, or researching statistics for my weekly and daily fantasy picks. I am under full belief there is an enormous advantage to be had with information when picking your lineups every week. I hope to bring that knowledge to this website. I look forward to writing and responding to your comments. Check out some of our course reviews, fantasy sports picks and as always, provide any feedback!
