Across the NHL schedule on this Saturday there are 11 games, but we will be looking at the main slate featuring eight games. Highlights include the Predators hosting the Sharks.
Did someone say chalk? Our run on goalies ended with Gibson not getting a win, but the lineup did fine anyway. We were able to put up 29.5 FPP, which is pretty much the floor of where we want to be. That was enough for cash game wins as the cash lines were a bit low. I found a 50/50 with 26.5 points in the money last night.
We’re liking the Panthers at home against Montreal, so we tabbed Roberto Luongo (confirmed starter) in net. Huberdeau has exceeded expectations in four straight games and we’re hoping he helps get us the win bonus on Luongo in Florida today.
*Update from Chris (6:52 p.m. EST): I’m hearing Stamkos is a scratch tonight.
Be sure to always check your lineups before they lock. Sometimes late injuries, scratches, etc. can cause some great values to be unlocked right before the NHL puck drops. If you want to win, you really need to check your fantasy lineups frequently on game day. Just use my lineup as a template to start your DFS research.
