Johnny G’s DraftKings NHL & FanDuel NHL Picks 11-4-17

We have a massive 13 game NHL slate for Saturday, November 4th with one early game at 2pm.  Nearly every team is in action, with the Predators and Ducks playing the 2nd game of a back-to-back.  Edmonton and New Jersey are off tonight.

Johnny G invites the NHL experts from Hammer DFS to share some of their research and insights to help you build your rosters and cross the money line in your DFS contests.

Look no further than Los Angeles for your cash goalie.  Jonathan Quick has the 2nd highest Save percentage (93.9%) among keepers with 6 or more starts.  Despite the win last night, the Predators are having a rough time scoring goals.  This being the 2nd game of a back-to-back on the road, you should be confident in LA tonight.  LA is giving up the fewest goals and Nashville is scoring the 3rd fewest goals per game in the league.

There are a ton of great cash plays tonight, so let’s have a look.

The Rangers are in Florida tonight against the Panthers.  The Panthers give up tons of goals, so Zibanejad and his crew are a great play. The Rangers also give up a lot of goals, and Florida can score.  Both of the Panthers’ point leaders, Dadonov and Huberdeau should be considered as well.  Trocheck ($5800) still hasn’t cracked the 6k mark on FanDuel despite 14 points in 12 games and averaging around 20 minutes of ice time.  He’s only $6200 on DraftKings, so you can play him on either site.

Victor Rask and Justin Williams are on the 2nd line and pp2 for the Hurricanes.  Williams is leading the team in assists, and Rask is tied for 2nd in goals.  Against AZ, they are a solid play.

For a GPP play, I’m going to suggest Minnesota at home tonight against Chicago.  Chris Stewart is leading Minnesota in goals.  He’s on the 3rd line and on pp2.  You can go a couple of different ways with him.  You can pair him with his line mate Marcus Foligno, but Foligno isn’t on the PP.  Neither is their center, Joel Eriksson Ek.  Stewart is on the PP with Eric Staal and Jason Zucker (only $4700 on FanDuel), so you can go that way as well. Throw in Matthew Dumba or Mike Reilly, and you should have a low-owned gpp play.
