Johnny G’s DraftKings PGA Pebble Beach Fantasy Golf Lineup 2016

After watching Fowler pull defeat from the jaws of victory how can Pebble Beach top that this week. It has been a great 2016 PGA season so far and we are still 2 months away from Augusta National!

Pebble Beach can play a multitude of ways, mostly depending on the weather. For this event they leave the rough short, unlike when they host US Open events. So you are going to have to make some birdies in order to win this thing. The thing with Pebble is the same guys always seem to be in contention here. With that being said, I was able to find a few guys who love this course.

Brandt Snedeker – Already hot from his latest showing, he has won at Pebble twice in the last few years, so he is an obvious favorite again. After he got that streak of bad play out of him he is making a run at the Ryder Cup again.

Dustin Johnson – Besides for the triple bogey double bogey combo he threw up in the 2010 US Open here he plays well at this track and is one of the best golfers in the world. So it is a strong play. His salary will be high though.

Jason Day – Another high salary, but will be in contention. Probably cannot afford both him and DJ, or Snedeker for that matter.

Pat Perez – Sleeper pick of the week. Will be cheap. Plays this course well. You will need to find value somewhere, he is it.

Kevin Streelman – Better than you think. Cheaper than he should be. Depending on his salary, I like him this week.

We will wait until the final values are out then post our official lineup.

 GolferSalaryComments - Stats
1Dustin Johnson11,400DJ tears this place up, having won twice and top 7 or better 6 of his last 7 here.
2Brandt Snedeker11,100The defending champ at a place prone to repeat winners. Aside from Saturday's round last weekend, Sneds is playing great golf right now.
3Kevin Streelman7400Top 40 or better 3 of his last 4 trips here, but what I really like is his iron play currently, especially the short irons. These courses aren't long, so he'll hit a lot of them.
4Jhonattan Vegas7300Vegas is averaging 300 off the tee, currently ranked 34th in Strokes Gained: Tee to Green, and he's hitting 74% of his Greens in Regulation.
5Greg Owen6400Similar to Vegas above, Owen is 302 off the tee and currently ranked 21st in approaches from 50-125 yards. How is he only $6400, you say? Dude can't putt. Don't even look up his putting stats, it's ugly. If anything at all drops, he's worth the punt.
6Jim Herman6300The Herminator is quietly putting together a decent season. He's made 7 of 9 cuts with 3 top 25 finishes.

Johnny Giovonni

Hi, my name is Johnny Giovonni. I am in the financial services industry and own my own business on the side. I work too much and golf too little. That is why I helped create this site, so I could at least have the dream of golfing everyday. Also, I am a huge numbers person and have researched many advanced gaming theories and other nerd stuff like the Rule of 72 and Benford's Law. When I am not working I am either golfing, watching sports, or researching statistics for my weekly and daily fantasy picks. I am under full belief there is an enormous advantage to be had with information when picking your lineups every week. I hope to bring that knowledge to this website. I look forward to writing and responding to your comments. Check out some of our course reviews, fantasy sports picks and as always, provide any feedback!
