Johnny G’s FanDuel NBA & DraftKings NBA Lineup Picks 1-15-19

The marquee matchup on Tuesday, January 15th’s six-game main slate is the Warriors visiting the Nuggets.  Sometimes there’s a fine line between locking a player in with a great matchup and cautiously rostering a player due to blowout risk.  We may have to contend with this dilemma as the Suns (possibly with Booker back) visit the Pacers and the Lakers host the Bulls.

Let’s take an entirely too-early look at the building blocks for the January 15th main slate.  More times than not, starting lineup announcements, breaking news, injuries, rest, etc. will affect the value of these plays and impact your roster construction.  But, the sooner we can get a feel for the slate and the optimal build, the better.

Are you looking for free DraftKings and FanDuel NBA advice?  You came to the right spot.  Johnny G invites the NBA experts from Hammer DFS to share some of their research and insights to help you build your rosters and cross the money line in your DFS contests.  If you want more, we have the perfect DFS lineup consultants as well.  Either way, we have you covered for all your fantasy sports’ needs.

Cash Plays

My cash line tonight will have Pacers in it, but exactly who will be determined by injury news worth monitoring.  Indiana will be paced up and the Suns are always a good team to target against.  Darren Collison and Cory Joseph are both listed questionable with leg injuries.  This is not a new scenario; lately they’ve both been GTD and they both have been playing.  If the recent trend is bucked and one of them sits, the other will be locked in for Cash.

I’m also monitoring the Indiana injury report for news on Myles Turner.  No team in the league gives up more fantasy production to the center position than Ayton and the Suns.  If Turner plays without a minutes restriction, exceeding value is nearly a foregone conclusion.  If Myles sits, Damontas Sabonis becomes a cash lock even on FanDuel since he’s listed as a PF.

GPP Plays

Lonzo Ball has been in the perfect FanDuel lineup his last three games and in the perfect DraftKings lineup three of the last four yet his salary has hardly budged.  His price tag of $7100 on FD remains the same for the 4th game in a row.  On DraftKings, he only gets a $300 bump to $6700, which is still $1000 less than his peak earlier this month.  He has a tough individual matchup against Kris Dunn, but he continues to play big minutes.  Overall, I expect the Lakers to come out swinging after getting embarrassed by Cleveland at home.
