How about it? The 1st installment of Johnny G’s fantasy NHL picks. Tuesday, November 24 brings us a limited amount of hockey games but there is still a FanDuel DFS contest being played! So let us get right to the lineup.
NHL FanDuel 11/24 Lineup
LW – Mike Hoffman – Ottawa – $6300
* Look for him to get a couple of assists in this matchup.
LW – Johnny Gaudreau – CGY – $7700
*One of my better players in the FanDuel NHL fantasy picks of mine tonight I am thinking he gets 5 shots on goal in this one.
RW – Michael Frolik – CGY – $5000
*A value play, at 5000 I am hoping for some shots on goal and maybe an assist in this game.
C – Jason Spezza – DAL – $6400
* The Dallas center should get plenty of ice time in this one to warrant his price. A goal would go along way as well!
C – Ryan Kesler – ANH – $6500
* Not much to choose from tonight and he does not have many goals this season, but that makes him due… right!
D – Chris Wideman – Ott – $3500
* Had to save salary here and hence if he does anything reasonably decent it will be of good value with this price point.
D – Cam Fowler – ANH – $4700
*Fowler has a little more potential and I think he will actually play well in this match-up at home against Calgary.
G – Craig Anderson – Ott – $8900
* He is on a heater right now so he will either keep it up or give up 3 goals. Not sure which, but he is playing at a great level right now.
This is the first official NHL DFS post for the year but expect more in the future as time allows. I have always been a huge hockey fan since the early 90’s when the San Jose Sharks and Anaheim Ducks were new teams. Man am I getting old. Good luck everyone.

I don’t watch too much NHL but it’s enjoyable to see it live some times. I think I’m going to give this lineup a try tonight because you set it up.

With the NHL games tonight, there are so few in action it will be interesting. Be sure to check your lineup again before the puck drops for any late changes. As the season goes on, I hope to post more NHL as time allows.

I forgot to look to see if any changes were made. It was a high scoring night for the NHL DFS stuff. I think that was the highest I have seen in whenever I have thrown a team together. You got close with your picks but Ottawa tore it up. 🙂
