Johnny G’s MLB DraftKings & FanDuel Home Run Predictions 5-26-17

Johnny G invites the MLB experts from Hammer DFS to take an early look at who they predict will go deep to help you fill out your rosters on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Up and down your squad, everyone needs home runs in their DFS lineups.  From your high-priced stars hitting value with one swing to your low-owned, minimum-priced punt helping you take down a big dollar contest, we all dig the long ball.  The experts will be digging through the match-ups and stats to find players in good spots and sharing them with you.

If you need more than a four-bagger to get your bankroll growing, Hammer DFS has a full-service chat to get you back on track.  Check out a sample of what their members pulled in recently:

Here are Johnny G’s Home Run predictions for 5/26/17:

Garret: Jose Abreu is 6 for 12 with 4 dongs off of Boyd in his career.  Abreu is batting .405 over the last week with 4 homers. He is in good position to get another one-off of the soft-tossing lefty for the Tigers.

Alex: Albert Pujols is 8-18 vs Straily with 2 HRs and .444 AVG.  Pujols is starting to elevate the ball recently.  His Flyball rate is up 7.2% and Hard Hit% is up 15.9% in the month of May.

Kyle: Matt Kemp is my pick for tomorrow.  He’s going against Matt Cain who has a 4.91 ERA. Kemp has 8 dongs so far this year.  4 off of Cain in his career.  Not to mention a walk off on Friday and a solo shot Saturday against the nationals.  Batting .338 on the season, his exit velocity is 2 pts above average this year.

Chris: Alex Avila is crushing the ball right now.  The Tigers & White Sox play a double-header, so Avila will see action in one of the games as a starter.  If he gets the nod in the main slate against Gas Can Pelfrey, I’m on him to go deep.  Over the last 7 games he’s played, he’s averaging an exit velocity of 100 mph, batted ball distance of 284 feet, Flyball percentage of 52%, and a hard contact rate of 58%.  All well above his season averages.
